The issue highlights 12 women who are leaders in their fields, have made their way in male-dominated industries, are serving as mentors to the next generation, and are working to make San Diego better.

    Nancy was also a the keynote speaker for San Diego Magazine’s Celebrating Women event, an award ceremony celebrating the female changemakers, groundbreakers and visionaries that are leading San Diego.

    Mar 18, 2021 — Gallagher Area President on behalf of California Schools VEBA, Laura Josh talked with NBC 7 about the troubles tracking COVID-19 vaccinations for teachers and other school employees in San Diego County.

    “We know for sure people were going to their medical providers,” said Laura Josh of California Schools VEBA, who added that educators also went to local pharmacies for their vaccines. “So when you see the VEBA Vaccinates number, that’s the folks who’ve gone through our actual portal, but we don’t have visibility or consolidated reporting for folks who have gone through channels.”
