Healthy Aging Through Every Stage:

From Perimenopause to Postmenopause

Join California Schools VEBA (CalVEBA) for a virtual session on women’s health across the menopause journey, supported by experts from Kindbody and Kaiser Permanente. This workshop will cover what to expect from perimenopause through post menopause, highlight common symptoms and supportive strategies, and share resources available through your CalVEBA benefits that help you feel informed and supported at every stage.

Food and Mood

Time: 5:30 – 6:30pm

Discover how what you eat impacts how you feel. In this workshop, you’ll learn why the gut-brain axis matters for mood, creativity, and mental clarity. We’ll break down the science behind diet and brain function and show how plant-based, nutrient-rich foods can boost emotional balance and focus. You’ll leave with a personalized action plan to add brain-boosting foods to your daily routine so you can feel your best inside and out.

Join a supportive small group where you’ll explore simple, meaningful ways to enhance your daily well-being. Each week offers guided conversation, reflection prompts, and practical exercises that help you notice what brings you joy and build habits that support a more fulfilling life. You’ll receive a free copy of the book and a journal to deepen your experience. Participants are expected to attend all six weekly sessions.

This session is a small group experience limited to 10 participants.
