The Best Gift to Yourself: Prioritizing Your Well-Being

Do the holidays make you stressed and anxious? You’re not alone.

The holidays can invoke a range of emotions—from joy, anticipation, and excitement to anxiety, stress, grief, and isolation. California Schools VEBA’s Coping Through the Holidays virtual support group, led by an Optum Emotional Wellbeing Specialist, offers a safe space for members to navigate these feelings.

California Schools VEBA members may choose to attend one or more of the three weekly virtual sessions. Learn coping skills, how to set boundaries, and practice self-care with others who understand. Led by licensed therapist Crystal Powers, MA, LMFT, our virtual group provides a supportive, confidential environment where you can build resiliency and practice intentional self-care during the holiday season and beyond.
