Dried fruit can often be overly sticky and cloyingly sweet, making it challenging to use in savory applications or as an elegant addition to dishes. This preparation transforms dried apricots into a tender, subtly spiced ingredient that balances sweetness with aromatic depth. Perfect for a charcuterie board or diced into a fresh salad, these spiced apricots are versatile and easy to prepare, with a hint of warm spices that complements a variety of flavors.

Equipment Needed

Kettle or microwave-safe bowl

Heat-resistant spoon or tongs

Measuring cups

Airtight container for storage
