Ingredients
- 4 ounces cooked, canned or frozen sweet potato (about ½ cup, cooked and cubed)
- ½ of a peeled, frozen banana or 3 ounces of frozen banana slices
- ½ cup frozen cauliflower
- 2 Tbsp of protein powder (vanilla flavor recommended)
- 1 cup water
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup (adjust to taste)
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- Pinch of salt, optional
Directions
- Blend the Smoothie: In a blender, add the cooled sweet potato cubes, ½ banana, water, honey or maple syrup, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, protein powder, and frozen cauliflower. Blend until smooth and creamy. If the smoothie is too thick, add a little more water until you reach your desired consistency.
- Adjust Sweetness and Consistency: Taste the smoothie and adjust the sweetness by adding more honey or maple syrup if needed.
