½ piece small peeled zucchini, optional (we used the outside for zucchini noodles)
¼ of a medium avocado, peeled
6-12 Stevia drops
1 tsp vanilla extract
¼ tsp peppermint extract
2 Tbsp vanilla whey protein powder or vegan vanilla protein powder
⅛ tsp sea salt
2 Tbsp dark chocolate pieces
1 cup water (add more to thin)
Directions
Measure all ingredients except the dark chocolate directly into the blender. It works best if you put the liquids in first, and then add the frozen solids on top.
Next, puree until smooth.
After blended, add the chocolate pieces to the smoothie and blend another 10-15 seconds, or until the chocolate is incorporated evenly.
