“The human body has an innate ability to heal itself when given the right circumstances. It is my job to help identify hidden roadblocks to this natural process and assist my patients in achieving optimal health. I love what I do because it works. By addressing the cause of disease rather than the symptoms, long-lasting relief is often achieved.”

Dr. V’s roots are in the culture that inspired modern medicine. Growing up in a Greek family, she learned the remedies, treatments and therapies practiced by the father of medicine, Hippocrates. Her mother taught her holistic healing lessons passed down through generations about therapeutic foods and spices, herbal medicines and tonics and traditional treatments such as cupping and aromatherapy.

Dr. V’s passion around holistic healing led her to the VEBA Resource Center. A knowledgeable, compassionate and uplifting practitioner, Dr. V supports VEBA Members through their healing journey as an Integrative Holistic Medicine Doctor. She believes taking an integrative approach to healthcare — combining holistic with traditional medicine — gives a person the best care suited for their condition. She has experience in treating a wide range of conditions, including pain management, women’s health with the focus on hormones and immunity and digestive health.

Dr. V spent six years obtaining her Doctorate in Integrative Chinese Medicine. She received her Masters in Integrative Chinese Medicine & Acupuncture at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine and South Baylo University and her Doctorate at Five Branches University. She is a licensed Primary Care provider in California, an Acupuncturist and Herbalist certified by the California Acupuncture Board as well as by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM), and a certified Functional Medicine practitioner. When she is not working with patients, Dr. V enjoys spending time with friends and family, playing in nature, being in the ocean, biking, traveling, reading and exploring.
