Mar 1, 2021 — California Schools VEBA is committed to helping San Diego’s school community get vaccinated. The VEBA Vaccinates program kicked off on Saturday with a vaccination event at the Sharp HealthCare Vaccination Superstation at Chula Vista Center and at the UC San Diego Recreation, Intramural and Athletic Complex (RIMAC). The program is off to a great start with more than 18,000 school employees having been invited to schedule their vaccination appointment through the VEBA Vaccinates portal. VEBA Vaccinates is a collaboration between California Schools VEBA, Sharp Health Care, UC San Diego Health, the County of San Diego, and the San Diego Office of Education, to coordinate the vaccine distribution for more than 100,000 school employees in San Diego.
